Welcome to THORSAA FILM FESTIVAL

Welcome to the official Big Gig site that will give you all the essential information you need to take part in Britains' most northernly film and music festival.

The event was created in 2004 by Cinema For Thurso Group to further it's remit to promote cinema, film, music and arts developement in Scotland and particularly in Caithness.We recently decided to change the event name to reflect the Pictish/ Viking culture and heritage of Caithness.

 * We are experiencing problems with our PictureHouse site. Whilst we can log in the provider has made changes that have blinded their system to our site so we can't get to it to make updates. We have spoken to the service provider who have yet to respond. They are taking their good time about it too!
